Dear All,

Dr.R. KarthikeyanGemba School of HR (GSHR) is a dream comes true. It was always my mission to create a world class educational facility for HR. A small seed is sown now.

This comes after 18 years of work in HR in varied positions- manager, consultant, teacher and trainer - across India and abroad.

I have always felt that the Education opportunities in HR are so distant to the realities of contemporary industry requirements. The syllabus is never tuned to the current scenario. The teachers have no managerial experience to share. And the students are insulated from the real world of HR.

Whenever I teach a course in HR or when I recruit for HR trainees or when I conduct an induction programme for management trainees, I always felt that the students were not given the right exposure that would equip them with some basic HR skills and competencies.

Gemba School of HR is born out of the desire to fill this gap.

Here, the programme structure is evolved after discussion with 40 HR managers. The majority of teachers would be HR practitioners. Every bit of theory has an action agenda. Pedagogy is based on the whole brain education model with equal emphasis on logic & intuition, analysis & synthesis and verbal and performance skills.

The participants are not treated as ‘students’, but as “managers in incubation”.

With robust programme design and practical training at every stage, I am confident that GSHR would have 100% placement right from the first batch. Our 120 clients from consulting profession are behind this success. Their overwhelming support and guidance is leading me in this journey.
