Selection Method

The selection process of Gemba is highly scientific and objective. It is a simple process wherein the selectors try to understand the candidates interest in academic quest and psychological traits required to deal effectively with people.

The selection process involves three stages:

Gemba Assessment Process (GAP): The candidates are required to undergo validated and standardized psychometric testing. It is mandatory for the candidate to take this test to move on to the next level of selection process. It is simple psychological test where the candidates' personality and interest is inspected.

Group Process Analysis (GPA): This is the second phase of selection process. The candidate will undergo a group discussion. A general topic will be given to a group of 8 candidates. The candidates need to talk on the topic for 20 minutes. The trained selectors will observe the behavior of each candidate and prepare the report accordingly. The candidate can move on to personal interview only if they pass both GAP and GPA.

Personal Interview (PI): The personal interview constitutes either one to one interaction or panel interview. This stage is to explore more about the personal qualities of the candidates and understand the candidates' fitment to the course. Candidates passing all the three stages shall proceed forward with admission formalities.
