By qualification Vijay is a lawyer and a post graduate in Human Resources Management.  He started his career with a manufacturing organisation, India Cements Limited, in a role that required integrating processes and systems of an acquired company with the parent company.   Among other things this required handling relations with Labour Unions.  He successfully managed the integration developing trust despite violent odds and moved on to handle a transformation role spanning multiple manufacturing units of the group.

Vijay then moved to telecom industry (Bharti Televentures Limited) which was just then growing and got involved in setting up of systems within the organisation and on integrations of functions for optimal performance.  From its unit in Chennai he moved to the corporate office in Delhi for implementation of an ERP system for HR across the enterprise.  He was one among the two member functional team chosen from across the enterprise for this project. 

In the meantime, he had grown substantially as a trainer and had become a Master Accredited Trainer with SMR Universal, Malaysia (Largest HR Consulting Company in South East Asia) and had facilitated several workshops delighting participants.  His style is loading of fun into content during the workshops to help learner attention and retention.  He has been a regular in addressing seminars and interacting with college and school students.  Being a cheerful speaker, he connects well with the student community and has a big following among those who have attended his sessions.
